An endeavor that began merely as a trade when she was 17 years old (so she could get a job as soon as possible to raise her baby) actually became so much more for Lisa. By becoming a cosmetologist, a world of creativity, inspiration, self confidence and artistic expression became a passion for what she does today in the salon. Over the 25 years of Lisa’s career, she has worked in many different areas of the beauty industry.
Her passion for hairdressing and her love for sharing knowledge with other hairstylists inspired Lisa to become a technical advisor, educating hairstylists and colorists on everything from the basics of hair color theory to color application techniques. She transitioned from Schwarzkopf’s Essential Looks team to becoming Brand Manager of Schwarzkopf Professional for MAKA beauty Systems of the Southwest.
Lisa currently expresses her creative and artistic hair cutting and coloring skills in her salon in Old Town Scottsdale which she opened in November of 2002.
“Whether it’s a basic cut or a total transformation, the best thing about being a hairstylist
is making people feel great about themselves!”...Lisa
